My last foray into blogger world was when I was traveling across the country in one ton cube truck. I was looking for a way to keep in touch with my friends & family and to update them on our progress on the road. Little did I know that it would become both an obsession and an outlet. (Unless you have ever been trapped with your map challenged sister for 13 days in a cube truck, you are not going to understand the need for an “outlet”) If not for the blog, I would have taken the direct route and missed out on all of the adventures along the way. Sometimes, you just have to take the road less traveled which brings us to the present.
Why blog now? Life’s about the journey and mine takes me via tacky tiki bars and strange roadside attractions all served up with a little social commentary and what journey would be complete without food. So, come hang out, keep in touch and let me share with you the tales of the tiki.
